Our school participated in the 15th Annual Fill the Mayflower Canned Food Drive. We collected 1160 cans of food to be distributed to the needy through the work of the Lauderdale Baptist Association, Salvation Army or Love's Kitchen. This was a wonderful learning opportunity to teach our students to be better future citizens and stewards,
Mrs. Nelson's 2nd graders brought in 460 cans and they will receive Little Caesars and Dairy Queen certificates for Pizza and Ice Cream Cake parties because they were the top collecting class.
