Southeast Third Grader Wins “Hearts for the Arts Walk” Contest

Natalie Prince, a third grade student at SEE won the Meridian “Hearts for the Arts Walk” art contest.  The purpose of the contest was to have children create art work that can be turned into murals to beautify our city.   Natalie’s painting of a koi pond was a winner.  Natalie and her family will be able to help local artists recreate this scene as a mural on either a wall or a sidewalk in downtown Meridian in March.  We are so proud of Natalie!
