Second Graders Visit the Mississippi Children's Museum - Meridian

Our second graders visited the Mississippi Children's Museum - Meridian on November 16th.  They explored, discovered, created, role played, and constructed.  They also had a lot of FUN while they were learning.  Here are some of the things the students said: 
"My favorite thing was the Red Hot" - AJ. 
" I really liked making things" - Olive.
"I had fun pretending to be a princess." - Adalyn 
"I think milking the cow was the best part.  The cow was super cool." - Meredith
"The brain playground was the best part.  I like to climb." - King
"I think the sand was the best part.  I like it the best because you could dig and feel the sand." - Paislee
"I think the X-ray was the best part.  It showed my teeth and bones." - Ariahna
"I liked the Red Hot Cafe because you got to order." - Allison
"I liked the brain the best.  It had tunnels that took you to the top.  I had never seen it before." - Paisley
"Mrs. Nelson, when are we going back?  I had the best time ever!" - JP 
"Meridian is very fortunate to have such a quality children's museum.  I have visited children's museums in several cities in the southeastern US and Meridian's is exceptional." - SEE Teacher
