The transition from fourth grade at Southeast Elementary to fifth grade at Southeast Middle can be scary. Both schools work hard to help students feel more comfortable about the change. On Tuesday, May 10th the fourth grade class toured the SEMS campus. Students were able to visit everywhere they will go as fifth graders and meet faculty, staff and administrators. They learned about the routines and procedures so they will be prepared and know what to expect. Parents were invited to tour with them.
Some of the fourth grade thoughts were:
"The cafeteria was the best!" - Isabel
"Mrs. Black's room was cool" - Allie
"I like the murals on the wall around the QUEST room." - Zaidee
"My favorite part was the wiffle ball field." - WIllow
"We're gonna have a science lab." - Maddie
"I think the gym was the best." - Jaxon
